Our smartphones are constantly dinging and ringing, alerting us of notifications all day long. And don’t get me started on how much time we waste looking at all of these (mostly unimportant) notifications. Sometimes it can make smartphones feel more stressful and annoying than a helpful tool. Does anyone else just slightly miss the days before smartphones? But it doesn’t have to feel that way… in fact, our phones can be a tool of relaxation!
In Step Mindfulness Meditation Apps
If there’s one type of app that I would recommend to anyone it’s got to be a meditation app. Anyone can benefit from meditation, and in a world where we’re constantly on-the-go, it can be nice to have a relaxation practice that can go with us! When you find a few moments when you’re not doing something (say on the subway or waiting in line), you’ve got a tool to help you take advantage of it.
There are plenty of meditation apps out there though, so which should you choose? There’s Headspace, Calm, and so many others.
One brilliant app to checkout is Buddhify. Why is it so great? No hidden or additional costs—download the app once and you’re done! No fees to unlock meditations or premium features.
Buddhify currently offers over 80 custom guided meditations each tailored to wherever you are and whatever you’re doing. Plus, it syncs with Apple’s HealthKit, keeping all of your meditation sessions and other health information right there in one place!
Try out the app on iOS and Android and let me know what you think!
