***POSTPONED*** Overcoming Digital Distraction: How to Improve Focus and Decrease Stress Using Mindfulness (Live Event @MIT)
***PLEASE NOTE: With the close of the MIT campus as a result of safety protocol to protect against the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus 2019), this event has been postponed and will occur at a later yet-to-be-determined date. ***
Are you constantly distracted by those little chimes ringing from your phone? Not to mention your desktop notifications, emails, etc…
Many are, and it requires a conscious effort to take back control, manage FOMO, and create a healthier relationship with tech.
TFM founder Robert Plotkin knows this all too well, as he’s dealt with his own challenges with digital distraction and crafted exercises to help develop better tech-related habits.
That’s why on Thursday, March 12th at 12:00 PM Robert will be giving a workshop at MIT on overcoming digital distraction as part of Radius’s “Hack Your Mind” series (This event has been POSTPONED. See the top of this post for details. Thank you for your understanding). If you live in or around the Boston area, we’d love to see you! (See details below.)
During the one-hour interactive presentation, he’ll share a bit about his personal challenges with digital distraction. He’ll also cover exercises inspired by his background in meditation and martial arts, which he developed to help him deal with those very challenges, along with how you can apply them in your own life.
The exercises don’t require any particular past experience or knowledge, so everyone is welcome to attend.
